broadway show new york city

I have never been one who has been really into musical shows and live stage shows, but that didnt stop me from watching Grease fifty times when I was young. However, I have recently made a few new friends who love this type of stuff, and they cant get enough of going to a Broadway show New York City style production. Though they cant get to the big city very often, that does not mean they cant enjoy the entertainment at any other time of the year other than a vacation. Entertainment is as close as you want it to be.

One of these friend was just out to see a Broadway show New York City a few weeks ago. She saw one of the final performances of the Producers, which happens to be her all time favorite. If you were to visit her Myspace page, you would see how true that statement is. Though I dont really understand the fascination, I do know that I saw the movie version of the Producers, and it was quite entertaining. I guess it just goes to show that each person likes something different, and there is an audience out there for whatever it is that someone wants to show.

Perhaps the best known show would be Cats. Cats was around for a very long time, and it was not just a Broadway show New York City. It traveled all over the place, and had a huge following. I have never seen it, but then again, I have not seen a lot of them. Though I think most of them are good, I guess I dont make them a priority. There have been many plays that have come near me, but I can never seem to get to any of them, even though I do seem to find some interest when I see ads for them.

If you are dying to see a Broadway show New York City, dont be afraid to see what is coming up in your own town. Though it is not the same as seeing the show on Broadway, you can certainly see a good show, and have just as much fun. The best thing about these is that though New York can be somewhat expensive, you dont have to spend a fortune to get to the city to see a few shows. Most shows have quite a long run, and that means that everyone who wants to see it will probably have a good chance at doing just that.
